It’s no secret—I’m deeply inspired by the past while always watching what’s next. This mix of nostalgia and forward-thinking shapes my unique approach to photography and visual storytelling. Some of my favorite moments are spent flipping through old photo albums from my childhood—those grainy, imperfect images that somehow hold so much emotion. That’s the feeling I aim to capture when photographing families and portraits: a mix of warmth, memory, and meaning. When you add a little creativity to everyday moments, you get something special—artful photography that feels both timeless and personal.

A typical family session with me is relaxed and real. Think of me as a quiet observer, just hanging out while you do your thing. There is no stiff posing, no directing, no “hold that smile.” If you'd like, you can plan an activity, and I’ll tag along to capture it, whether making pancakes, walking in your neighbourhood, stopping for ice cream, or even having a family adventure in Paris.

I’ve been documenting my family this way for over 7 years, and it’s the kind of storytelling I love most.

And don’t worry, I always make time for a few relaxed, lightly posed family portraits too.

ARTFUL PORTRAIT SESSIONS

Ready for portraits that feel fresh, real, and a little bit magical? You’ve found them.

If you’re after truly one-of-a-kind, creative portraits, this is for you. Whether you want to be hands-on with the concept or simply show up and let me take the lead, these sessions are all about capturing emotion, movement, and that nostalgic, dreamlike feeling, like painted memories come to life.

These portraits can be solo or with one or two people - think a motherhood shoot with just mom and kids, a best friends session, a senior or graduation shoot, or simply you and me hanging out and having fun.

I’ll come to wherever you feel most comfortable - your home, the park, the backyard, or in the studio. We can keep it simple or get a little wild… expect music, probably some flowers, maybe some sneaky moments hiding in bushes, and definitely some dancing and jumping.

The end result? Original, beautiful portraits that feel truly you.

These sessions can be captured with my digital camera, or if you prefer something even more magical and dreamy, I also shoot with some vintage cameras on film and Polaroid. These film sessions cost more, as I have to cover the costs of the film. However, in my opinion, they are well worth it.
