50 NUANCES D'ETE: OGUNQUIT BEACH
Ogunquit Maine is our families favourite place in the world. Yup, you read that right. It beats Paris, NYC and Banff, Morocco and Spain too. That is according to the kids! We've been going almost every year since Mister M was a baby. We have our little routines and traditions, even a family portrait we try to get every time we go. The kids talk about it all year long and would choose this destination over any other.
It was hard to choose only 4 photos to share today for a few reasons. For one I didn't end up shooting with my DSLR much as I ended up taking a roll of film on one of the days and filming mostly on the other. I'll share those as soon as I get my scans back and put my mini family film together. Oh and I also got a new phone and it takes these pretty incredible photos, and it is just so easy to pull out and shoot, but I am making a huge effort not to become too lazy. So here are some photos from when we first got there, after the 5.5-hour drive we headed straight for the beach.
This series of blog post is part of a collective blog circle where photographers from all around Quebec share their favourite photos of the week- so go check out Helene Gey's lovely underwater photos and keep going until you end up back here.
Until next week... stay safe in the heat wave!
